About

I build web products people actually use.

Ralph Christian Gabriel · Repentigny, QC

Full-stack developer based in Repentigny, Greater Montréal. Bilingual EN/FR, currently studying B.Eng. in Software Engineering at ÉTS, I have been shipping web products since 2022 — solo, in teams, and as a co-founder.

My approach: ship to production, not just demos. The Mad Space runs today with ~15,000 LOC, 30+ API endpoints, multi-currency Stripe payments (4 currencies), 7+ B2B integrations and 4 business workflows that cut order processing by 10–15 minutes.

Before product development, I resolved 2,000+ tickets at Vidéotron with 94% customer satisfaction (9.6/10) and automated ~50% of tasks via Power Automate. I learned to listen before coding, and to diagnose before proposing.

Beyond the code.

A few things that shape how I think and work.

I ran 21.1 km to support Laval firefighters. Months of training taught me what I also find in software development every day: consistency, trusting the process, and finishing what you start.

How I work

I think in systems: I go deep before going wide, I plan before I code, and I document so what I ship keeps working without me. Curious and methodical, I'm most comfortable once I understand the "why" before the "how".

  • Diagnose before proposing — a habit from IT support.
  • Plan, then move in small, verifiable steps.
  • Document and test so the code lasts.
  • Keep learning, and share what I figure out.

Chess forces me to anticipate, read patterns, and think several moves ahead. That's exactly what I do when designing the architecture of a system.

Skiing is my reset. It forces me to read the terrain, react quickly, and fully commit to every turn.
