I'm Ralph Christian Gabriel. I live in Repentigny, in Greater Montréal, and I study software engineering at ÉTS. I work in French and English.
I started in IT support at Vidéotron: more than 2,000 tickets resolved, and about half of the repetitive tasks automated with Power Automate. That's where I learned to listen and diagnose before proposing a fix.
Since then, I've been building web and mobile apps. The Mad Space, a print-on-demand marketplace, runs in production with Stripe payments in 4 currencies. This fall, I'm a process automation intern at La Caisse (CDPQ).

I ran 21.1 km to support Laval firefighters. Months of training taught me what I also find in software development every day: consistency, trusting the process, and finishing what you start.
I think in systems: I go deep before going wide, I plan before I code, and I document so what I ship keeps working without me. Curious and methodical, I'm most comfortable once I understand the "why" before the "how".
Chess forces me to anticipate, read patterns, and think several moves ahead. That's exactly what I do when designing the architecture of a system.
Skiing is my reset. It forces me to read the terrain, react quickly, and fully commit to every turn.
